Detailed description

Are you perhaps looking for a volunteer position in which you can be of significance to incapacitated people who need care and support? An interesting and socially relevant volunteer position in which you can make good use of your acquired experience and knowledge at at least HBO level? A position in which, in addition to the eight board meetings per year, you determine the times when you make your contribution? Then consider a board position at the Mentorship Overijssel Gelderland (MOG) foundation. The permanent meeting location of the board is in Apeldoorn.

MOG is a foundation that carries out the legally defined tasks of a mentor with expert volunteers (mentors) [1] . The MOG board is looking for two new board members with an affinity for mentorship and the 'Quality' and 'Communication & PR' portfolios. We have described these portfolios below. Give it a read, it might be something for you.


Candidate 1: Quality

Within the board you have the quality portfolio. Quality is the cornerstone on which MOG floats and from which we derive our legitimacy. We want to be there for everyone and we want to demonstrate that we provide quality mentorship.

 

You develop quality policy and translate this into concrete actions for the annual plan. We are thinking, for example, of the preparation of the annual audit and/or the acceptance policy of new clients and mentors. You are ultimately responsible for the implementation of this and work closely with the team leader and the team in realizing this.

 

Candidate 2: Communications & PR

Within the board you have the Communications & PR portfolio. As MOG, we are proud of our contribution to the well-being and happiness of our clients and also want to make it widely known who we are and what we do. We want to contribute to the awareness of mentorship and the added value of mentorship for the clients and for the mentors themselves. We strive to ensure that new clients and new mentors can find their way to us.


You develop policy in the field of communication and PR and translate this into concrete actions for the annual plan. For example, we are considering participating in increasing our reputation in the region and recruiting clients and mentors. You are ultimately responsible for the implementation of this and work closely with the team leader and the team in realizing this.

Of course, your relevant knowledge and experience play a role, but also whether you as a potential director can contribute to the further professionalization of our foundation.
