Summary

Do you want to help non-native speakers, both men and women, with the Dutch language? But you don't really want to teach? Then become a language volunteer at the Tea, Language and Coffee program. This is an accessible language cafe where people come to practice Dutch and to make contacts. Together you drink a cup of coffee with the group and talk about all sorts of things.

Detailed description

Who are we?

Da Capo offers all kinds of activities in the field of language & activation to (mainly) migrant women. But we also offer language cafés, where both men and women can come to practice the language. Once a week people can talk to each other, while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. It does not matter how high the language level is.

Activities

You will become one of the volunteers who will guide the different groups in the conversation. You will think along in the themes that can be discussed, or a language game that can be played.

We ask

Enthusiasm, willingness to do some preparation (such as devising questionnaires, devising themes), broad area of interest.

We offer

A pleasant location, nice colleagues and rewarding work.

Time Spent

1 half day per week, Wednesday afternoon 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

Location

Da Capo Foundation, Eksterweg 71
