The Guitart Apeldoorn Foundation is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator for a few hours a week, depending on demand and need.
Without our volunteers we cannot provide the many weekly music practitioners with facilities and our service and hospitality, which we aim to do
We want to offer our volunteers a pleasant and meaningful workplace in a good and pleasant musical atmosphere. To realize and monitor this, we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer coordinator
As a volunteer coordinator you are (jointly) responsible for implementing our active volunteer policy.
You inspire and motivate volunteers and you have an eye for their interests, motivation and needs.
You are the spider in the web when it comes to recruiting and scheduling volunteers.
Upon arrival of the volunteer, you are the calling card of the Guitart foundation and you ensure a good and safe volunteer climate.
Experience as a volunteer coordinator is a plus, but not a requirement.
What are you going to do?
Implementing, monitoring and adjusting the volunteer policy; Recruit, match, supervise and coordinate volunteers; Ensuring correct registration of volunteers; Ensuring good communication with volunteers; You are the point of contact for volunteers; Initiating meetings for volunteers; You work together with the core volunteers and the board.
Prerequisites: Some knowledge and experience in volunteer coordination; Affinity with art and culture; You fit into the team of volunteers with your enthusiastic, creative and musical character; You can work independently, set priorities and solve problems; You have excellent social skills, are enthusiastic and make contact easily; You can deal well with different people, emotions, resistance and criticism.

About Stichting Guitart
Due to the interest and need to make music together, the Guitart Foundation was founded in 2020 and has quickly grown into a busy cultural and artistic location in Apeldoorn. The location now has four practice rooms with a full backline and an amateur studio. In addition, the musicians regularly perform in the outdoor area of Apeldoorn or on (small) local stages.
Novice musicians, amateurs, semi-professional and professional bands, singing groups, choirs and music teachers, know where to find the Guitart Foundation. But children, music teachers and young people who want to do something culturally or musically have also shown interest.
