Atlant, living care welfare
Is a healthcare institution with nine departments in Apeldoorn, Beekbergen and Ugchelen. We take care of the elderly, people with Huntington's disease, dementia, Korsakov's syndrome and people who need chronic psychiatric nursing home care with a lot of love and attention. At Atlant you can be human; as a resident, employee and volunteer.
A friendly lady with dementia lives in Koningin Wilhelmina, Orangery department, who likes to go outside. Because of the illness of Mrs. she cannot do this independently. Are you the volunteer who can give her the joy of being outdoors?
What are you going to do?
Once a week you pick up Mrs. for a walk. Madam likes to go to the park and shopping mall. You chat, talk, listen and point Mrs. to a beautiful flower, that laughing child, that blackbird hiding in the bush. In short, you make it a pleasant outing, where Mrs. gets attention and can enjoy being outside.
