Who are we?
De Kap is a foundation for informal care. She is literally and figuratively at the heart of Apeldoorn society. From its beautiful location in the center of Apeldoorn, de Kap offers help and support in the home situation. This concerns care and support for which insufficient or no appeal can be made to formal care or the social network. De Kap facilitates and supports and is based on people's own strength. It is there for those seeking help, volunteers and carers. De Kap works closely with the municipality and other organisations. Within these networks, knowledge and expertise in the field of volunteer work and informal care policy is made available and shared.
