Moviera stands for tackling domestic violence. We have various shelter locations where we provide shelter and assistance to people who have experienced domestic violence. The goal is to resume independent living. Moving from the shelter to your own home is quite a job and if someone has a small network, help from someone else is important.
You own a car and/or are handy with odd jobs. How often you can help someone depends on that person getting their own home. So it is an advantage if you are flexible. It is also fun if you do the jobs together and can even teach the new owner of the home something.
We ask
- You enjoy helping people and teaching others about odd jobs.
- You are available for a longer period of time (at least 3 months).
- You are reliable, independent and friendly.
- You must have a feeling for the vulnerability of our target group and also be able to set boundaries.
- You are able to submit a Certificate of Good Conduct and provide a reference
- You can subscribe to the organization's code of conduct
- You can submit a Declaration of Good Conduct (reimbursed by Moviera) and provide a reference.
