We are looking for several group supervisors (volunteer position) to prepare and help implement practical projects.

What does a group leader do?

Present Apeldoorn connects groups of volunteers with aid recipients through social organizations active in Apeldoorn. This way, help reaches those who need it most. Groups of volunteers can do something for someone else for a day or part of the day.

To give these groups a good volunteer experience, we need group supervisors .

As a group supervisor you are an intermediary between a group of volunteers and a care provider and his client. You will join us to prepare a project after Present has done the matching. You communicate with both the care provider and the group of volunteers. On the project day itself, you guide the group by starting and closing the activity. You contribute to ensuring that the agreements are clear to everyone and that a good meeting takes place. All activities take place in the municipality of Apeldoorn. This way your involvement in the city can grow and you never have to travel far.

What are you bringing?

• You have a social heart for people on the margins of society
• You like to organize and can work independently
• You enjoy working with different types of people: aid recipients, care providers, students or pupils, church members, employees who work as a team and much more
• You know (a little) about DIY and gardening
• You are able to properly prepare and enthuse a group of volunteers for the actions they will carry out
• You have good communication (also somewhat digital) skills, social and careful
• Your age doesn't matter

What do we ask of you?

• Time commitment: at least 2 projects per month. You will spend about 4 hours per project.
• Projects are available both during the week and on Saturdays. Project visits (conversation of maximum 1 hour) often take place during office hours. It is therefore necessary to be flexible during the week.
• You sign a volunteer agreement and you agree that we can apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) for you.
