By appointing a Confidential Contact Person (VCP), you as a volunteer organization have a first point of contact for cross-border reports.Detailed description
These sessions are provided by NOV's social safety advisors.
During this digital meeting we will discuss:
- What exactly does a VCP do?
- Who do you approach for this, what job requirements does someone have to meet?
- What is the difference in responsibilities of a VCP and a board?
- What is the difference between a Confidential Contact Person and a Confidential Advisor?
- Can you also choose to appoint both a VCP and a VP?
And... what else can you do as a board/coordinator to prevent inappropriate behavior?
This digital meeting is intended for directors/coordinators of volunteer organizations where no VCP is yet active.
There is specific training for confidential contact persons that is given at different times (see the online agenda of the NOV). They are also the people who can help individual organizations further and that training is also free. Good to know!
