Secretary Amnesty International working group Apeldoorn

Our working group consists of approximately 20 enthusiastic people who work in all kinds of ways for Amnesty and for human rights in general.

We meet approximately eight times a year to evaluate and initiate actions.

What are you going to do

• The secretary, together with the chairman, draws up the agenda for these meetings and takes minutes of the meetings.
• In addition, the secretary consults with the chairman and treasurer regarding the planning of activities.
• The secretary maintains the list of members and the activity calendar and manages the information material. In addition, taking care of correspondence and contributing to communication is part of the job.

Time investment

The estimated time investment is 1.5 to 2 hours per week and you can largely organize it yourself. In the summer it is a lot quieter.

Amnesty Apeldoorn is affiliated with the Mondial Foundation and the chairman and secretary are delegates to the Mondial meetings on behalf of our working group, which take place approximately four times a year.

We are looking for someone who:

• Affinity with the work of Amnesty International, is a member or wants to become a member
• Values loyalty and teamwork
• Find satisfaction in performing secretarial work
• Would like to stay informed of what is going on within the organization

• The working group offers you support, a warm atmosphere and time to familiarize yourself
• Amnesty International Netherlands, of which we are a part as a working group, holds workshops and study days, locally, regionally and nationally, where you can receive information and receive additional training.
• The expenses you incur will of course be reimbursed
