Summary
At Atlant we give space, literally and figuratively. For us, people are the most important thing. Every person is beautiful. We support vulnerable people. That is our raison d'être. We do this attentively, with full conviction, straight from the heart! We not only work closely with the social network of the residents but also with volunteers. They are very important to us. We provide knowledge and cooperation, so that the volunteer can give his attention to the resident.In de Berkenhove, all kinds of things are organized for the clients. In addition to many volunteers, our team consists of carers, social care workers and nurses. That works well because it allows you to build a relationship with each other.
We have a pleasant working atmosphere, and there is a lot of solidarity. We are enthusiastic, and of course you can also think along with us. At Atlant there is really room to develop yourself; so you can count on a nice range of training courses.
Detailed description
Who are we?
Berkenhove small-scale Living location of Atlant, here live 18 residents divided over three "living rooms". In these living rooms, cooking is done every day by employees. Sometimes they are supported by volunteers and/or informal caregivers.
Activities
Prepare the meal together with residents, and especially use the residents' possibilities. There is room to talk about food, vegetables from the past, favorite food and what can be served. The volunteer gives more time to pay attention to the residents and the meal.
