Hostess or host meeting

We work closely with the social network of the residents, local residents from the neighborhood and with volunteers. They are very important to us. We provide knowledge and cooperation, so that the volunteer can give his attention to the resident and the people from the neighborhood.

Will you join our team?

L ocation Berkenhove is located near the center of Apeldoorn. Living independently and – if needed – receiving care at home is possible here. A cozy Grand Café where residents and local residents like to pop in for a cup of coffee or a meal. There is a wide range of activities. We try to look at the individual as much as possible and to respond to the interest that is requested or appropriate. Volunteers contribute to this. Personal attention helps to ensure a pleasant day for the resident At Atlant there is real room to develop yourself; so you can count on support from employees and a nice range of training courses.

What are you going to do?

As a volunteer, you are the resting place and the familiar face for the guests in the meeting place. As a host or hostess, your goal is to create conditions for guests to meet in a pleasant atmosphere. You will receive the guests in a friendly manner, you will pay attention to which guests need some extra attention or who needs a chat and could therefore also connect well with other guests. You serve coffee, tea or other refreshments that are available in the Grand Café and you also pay for these. You take some time for a chat and if there is a need, you can play a game or do another small-scale activity with guests. You ensure that Het Grand Café remains tidy and you leave it clean again at the end of the morning or afternoon.

You can use the extensive experience of the other team members. There is room for new hostesses or hosts on different days of the week.
