Volleyball volunteer

Residential care center Berkenhove is located in Apeldoorn near the Loo. In the middle of the lively residential area close to the center. Living in Berkenhove is wonderful, it is a location where local residents regularly come in to participate in various activities. As a resident of Berkenhove or a local resident, you can choose from a wide range of activities. Bingo, crafts, hiking, singing or playing cards: our volunteers make it all possible.

The Koersballers always look forward to Monday afternoon, the afternoon when they race balls.

What are you going to do?

As a volunteer you are the resting point and the trusted face for the race ballers. On Monday afternoon it is time for a sporting meeting. As a volunteer of this activity you ensure that the mat is ready. That the chairs are ready for the participants. Then there is time for a warm welcome and there is time for a round. How are you today? You work together with fellow volunteers and you agree who will keep the score, who will coach the participants, who will collect the balls after they have been thrown.

Everything is possible in a moment of attention. You look at the needs of guests and you coordinate with fellow volunteers and the guest / resident what you can do as a volunteer. You can use the extensive experience of the other team members.

As a volunteer you are jointly responsible for the game material, so cleaning up and keeping the materials clean are also part of this.

The thrill of the game, watching the throw together and following the course of the ball ensures a lot of fun for the participants.

Knowledge of the game is not required, the rules are learned in no time.
