Summary
At Atlant we give space, literally and figuratively. For us, people are the most important thing. Every person is beautiful. We support vulnerable people. That is our raison d'être. We do this carefully, out of full conviction, straight from the heart! We not only work closely with the social network of the residents, but also with volunteers. They are very important to us. We provide knowledge and cooperation, so that the volunteer can give his attention to the resident.Everything is organized for the clients in the Berkenhove. In addition to many volunteers, our team consists of carers, social care workers and nurses. That works pleasantly because that way you can build a relationship with each other.
We have a nice working atmosphere, and there is a lot of togetherness. We are enthusiastic, and of course you can think about that too. At Atlant there is real room to develop yourself; so you can count on a good range of training courses.
Detailed description
Who are we?
Berkenhove small-scale living location of Atlant, here live 18 residents divided over three "living rooms". Employees cook every day in these living rooms. Sometimes they are supported by volunteers and/or carers.
Activities
Prepare the meal together with residents and, above all, make use of the residents' options. There is room to talk about food, vegetables from the past, favorite foods and what can be brought to the table. Thanks to the volunteer, there is more time to pay attention to the residents and to the meal.
