At Atlant we give space, literally and figuratively. For us, people are the most important thing. Every person is beautiful. We support vulnerable people. That is our raison d'être. Who are we?
Berkenhove is a location of Atlant, where meeting is important. Neighbors and/or local residents therefore regularly visit Berkenhove to participate in various activities. The Grand cafe is the place for a delicious cup of coffee or tea.
Activities
A lady lives in Berkenhove who is still walking independently inside the house, but she now wants to take a walk outside with the nice weather, but this is not possible without using a wheelchair and hopefully a volunteer who comes along. wants and can push the wheelchair with Mrs. Along the way there is time for a chat and for attention, which is double enjoyment.
We ask
At least once a week for an hour to go outside with Mrs.
We offer
More exercise and fresh air for the volunteer and the resident. Good acquaintance with the resident and with the first responsible employee, so that you have some more background information to have a good conversation along the way. Explain about driving with the wheelchair. And if necessary, guide you through the beautiful surroundings of Berkenhove.
Time use
At least 1 hour a week but more is allowed . And the day or time of the walk can be discussed. When it suits your schedule.
