o The volunteer works in a group of elderly people with dementia. The volunteer chooses a fixed part of the day or a special activity (eg singing, reading the newspaper, cooking or baking activity).
o The employee and volunteer go through the program and details together, and prepare the space for the activity.
o The volunteer helps with collecting and receiving participants, and with serving coffee.
o The volunteer has an active role in carrying out the various activities.
o The volunteer comes to support a certain activity, then he is more focused on the activity, and will then have fewer options for support when picking up the participants.
o During the training period, the working hours are determined in consultation.
o During the performance of the voluntary work, the volunteer is entitled to coffee.
o At the end of the activity, the volunteer helps clean up the room and guide the participants back.
o At the end of his task, the volunteer reports to the employee on duty. Any details will then also be reported.
