Summary
Arranging matters with the government, it is increasingly done via the internet. As a volunteer you help people in need with information online.Detailed description
Making information available online to everyone
Arranging business with the government, it is increasingly done via the internet. For example, you can apply online for your healthcare allowance, look for a job, renew a driving license or make an appointment with the municipality. To do this, you need a DigiD and of course you must be able to use a computer. For those who find this difficult or get stuck, special information points have been set up in numerous places nationwide, including in CODA.
At this Digital Government Information Point, everyone can visit the special walk-in consultation hours at various times. The first point has been open in CODA De Maten since June and in August we will also open an information point in CODA dock Zuid (16 August) and Central Library (17 August).
You can read more about IDO at www.coda-apeldoorn.nl/ido .
You & CODA
For these three locations we are looking for volunteers who not only answer questions, but also help with the search for information and possibly refer them to cooperation partners. You also give advice on courses that are offered, for example, within CODA. Before you start as a volunteer, you will be offered training in which you learn more about the different government services.
What will you be doing at CODA?
- Receiving visitors and mapping out the request for help together;
- Explain what digital government is and how they can find information there;
- Helping and guiding visitors so that they can search and find information online themselves;
- Refer visitors to other, external organizations if necessary;
- Visitors refer to courses within CODA.
