Summary

Every Monday morning the sewing club 'Make something of it' meets. Not only are sewing skills increased here, but also experience with the Dutch language.

Detailed description

Every Monday morning between 09:30 and 11:30 the sewing club 'Maak something of it' comes together. The sewing club consists of a beautiful diverse club of women from various cultural backgrounds. Here not only the skills for sewing are increased, but also the learning of the Dutch language. And all this in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

On Monday mornings, you and another volunteer are available to help with participants' own sewing creations.

To be able to help them properly, knowledge and experience with sewing is a must. In addition, you also bring fun and a healthy dose of patience with you.

The participants, approximately 4 to 8 people, come to the Herberg with their own sewing. Sewing machines and basic sewing equipment are available here. They also have some prior knowledge. The sewing club is not a class! During the sewing morning we also take the time to relax and drink coffee or tea together.

Please note for people with very limited mobility: we meet in the attic, which can be reached after two quite steep stairs.
