is looking for one or more enthusiastic board members

The Friends of the Kap Foundation aims to support the activities of the Kap Foundation in Apeldoorn by raising financial resources, increasing the Kap's name recognition and maintaining contacts with companies and social institutions in the region. De Kap is a foundation for informal care and offers help and support in the home situation.

The board of the Friends of the Hood Foundation currently consists of five members with diverse backgrounds and skills. They have in common that they have an affinity with the target group of Stichting de Kap and that they are at the heart of Apeldoorn society. We are looking for new board members to strengthen our board. This is a volunteer position.

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

• Administrative experience;

• Academic working and thinking level;

• Communication skills (active on social media, giving presentations, coming up with fun activities, etc.);

• Familiarity with Apeldoorn society;

• Experience with or interest in fundraising;

• Network contacts with policy makers in the region (politics, welfare, care, business);

• A healthy dose of humor and the ability to put things into perspective.

The board of the Friends of the Hood Foundation meets six times a year. In addition, the presence of the board is appreciated at some events that Stichting de Kap organizes.

As unpaid ambassadors of Stichting de Kap, the board members represent the organization at a local and regional level and can set aside sufficient time for this.
