De Kap is immediately looking for a VOLUNTEER for the position of: Volunteer Coordinator Palliative Terminal Care (VPTZ)
What are you going to do?
As a volunteer coordinator, you fulfill a pivotal role between the person seeking help and the volunteers. In collaboration with your fellow volunteer coordinators, you will perform the following tasks:
- you coordinate requests for palliative terminal care
- you do the intake with the person seeking help and/or family or loved ones
- In consultation, you deploy volunteers with the person seeking assistance and supervise this contact
- you are the contact person for and offer support to the volunteers
- Do you have contact with other organizations (for example home care)
- you can be reached by telephone for requests
- you shape the department together with the career coordinator and you enjoy thinking about activities and meetings for volunteers
What are we asking?
- Affinity with voluntary palliative support and coordinating work
- Able to work independently
- Socially skilled, connecting, listening, patient, accurate and has empathy
- Flexibility
- Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) (will be reimbursed)
