Dozens of reports are received daily from citizens or agencies such as the police or veterinarians. In addition to answering these phone calls, you have an advisory role and you have to take actions towards the right authorities.
This can vary from dispatching the animal ambulance to calling in a veterinarian and/or police.
From the control room you have a continuous overview of all notifications and actions.
It is an important pivotal function in which you must be able to switch well in various situations.
This is a position for 10 hours per week (2 shifts: Mon. to Fri. 08.30-13.00 and/or 13.00-18.00).
The employee preferably lives in the municipality of Apeldoorn, Brummen, Deventer, Epe, Zutphen.
The tasks:
- To answer the phone.
- Managing ambulances.
- Administration of reports/handling.
- Light cleaning work.
What are we looking for?
In addition to subscribing to the objectives of the Animal Protection, you have or are:
- Experience with the PC (typing skills).
- Preferably experience with customer service.
- Affinity with animals and the work of animal protection.
- MBO work and thinking level (or demonstrable work experience at that level).
And are you:
- Good communication skills and customer friendly.
- Flexible.
- Stress resistant and you can quickly switch between the diversity of notifications.
