Within Foenix Circular Craft Center we are continuously looking for volunteers.
We currently have room for volunteers in the role of:
- Cashier employees (Zwitsal, Molenmakershoek and Aruba)
- Drivers for our laundry / textile workshop
- "Bookworms" in our Book Sorting Center
- Colleagues in our Household goods department
- Colleagues in our Clothing Sorting Center
- Colleagues in our textile workshop
- and so forth.....
Foenix was founded in 1982 as a citizens' initiative because we felt that things could be done better and we wanted to work on a sustainable and committed society. We were innovative by creating workplaces for young people around sustainable reuse and paying for this through sales in thrift stores.
Now, almost 40 years later, we still believe that things can be done better and we still work in the same way: we bring involvement, sustainability and innovative entrepreneurship together. This ensures a better neighbourhood, city, society and world.
