Summary

You support the teacher with various assignments. This is done with 1 student, or in a very small group. For example, when reading vocabulary.

Detailed description

Because there are many different levels in a class, both in terms of learning and language, it is nice to have a support worker in the class.

This support worker will work with 1 student or a very small group of students to complete a simple assignment. For example, writing letters or reading words.

The teacher ensures that there is a clear assignment that you can practice with 1 or a few students.

You do not need any specific teaching experience for this.

It is nice if your Dutch language level is around MBO (B2 and higher).

We believe it is important that you have and show commitment and respect for our students.

About ISK-Onze Wereld

ISK Onze Wereld is part of 5 ISKs in Apeldoorn.
An ISK is an International Transition Class. This is a school/class where students from a foreign-speaking country learn the Dutch language.
We regularly use extra support in the classroom at various locations. This means that the assistant (intern/volunteer) helps the teacher during the lesson by practicing extra with one student or in a small group. The teacher provides an assignment and directs the support person.
