As a visiting volunteer you visit a patient in the forensic department, FPA De Boog in Warnsveld. These patients often have a very limited social network.Detailed description
You will visit a patient once every 2 to 3 weeks. Depending on what is possible and where the request for help lies, you can go for a walk together, play a game, drink a cup of coffee, go to the supermarket, etc.
Social contact is paramount in everything.
Your social skills are important here. Such as listening, empathy and providing a sounding board.
In addition, you stand firm and you can indicate your limits. You are 24 years or older.
You will quickly experience how much someone appreciates the fact that you come especially for him/her!
You will receive good personal guidance. Intervision and training are offered and there are volunteer meetings.
Your travel expenses will be reimbursed. We arrange the VOG application and it is free of charge.
