Summary

Looking for supervisors for our Sunday afternoon group. Children from group 7/8 of primary education get a broader view of the world through guest lessons.

Detailed description

Who are we?

Kids College Apeldoorn (KCA) is the weekend school for curious children who want to dive into an exciting world. A world that they do not easily come into contact with as a result of their home situation. During our program on Sunday afternoon or Wednesday afternoon, they can discover these together with professionals from Apeldoorn.

Our students meet interesting people from the business world and get to work with them. In this way the children learn to discover their talents, they gain a broader view of their possibilities and develop more self-confidence.

All this with the aim of supporting and motivating them in their choice for further education.

The lessons of KCA are free for the students, in order to keep the threshold for curious and motivated children as low as possible. KCA wishes every child a good future.

Sunday group

The Sunday group consists of students from groups 7 and 8 from all primary schools in Apeldoorn and the surrounding area. Dessen are given on Sunday afternoons from 13.00 to 16.00 at the location of the guest teacher or in the building of De Woonmensen, Deventerstraat 54.

The program is divided into 6 modules of 8 lessons; Technology, Care people & animals, Society, Culture, Communication, Entrepreneurship. In each school year, students follow 3 modules. In addition to the information about the profession, the students are challenged to think problem-solving and creatively. In addition, the relationship between the professions in a module is made clear.
