Summary

Do you like swimming and want to do something for the elderly? Become a volunteer and help our residents with their biweekly trips to the pool!

Detailed description

The Veldhuis location is a nursing home where residents still live independently but are dependent on care.

Every two weeks on Thursday morning a group of residents of KleinGeluk goes swimming. For a resident of Veldhuis we are looking for support with this activity. First of all, the transport to and from the swimming pool. And if possible, helping with dressing and undressing. Swimming along is allowed, but not mandatory.

At KleinGeluk we leave no chance unused to promote the well-being of the elderly. As a volunteer, you are invaluable to us! Experiencing small moments of happiness together, so that people feel seen. That is what we do it for.

We offer you guidance and you can participate in workshops to develop new skills if necessary. You can start working for a few hours per month.

Good to know: as a volunteer you are insured (third party liability and accidents) and before starting work we request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct).

Are you interested or would you like to have a cup of coffee with one of the volunteer and welfare coordinators? Call our care line on 0800-0604 or email [email protected]
