Summary

We are looking for a volunteer who enjoys classical music and is handy on the computer and can click on the links for the right piece of music

Detailed description

The Veldhuis location is a nursing home, where residents live independently but are dependent on care.

Every week a large group of residents listen to a program of classical music specially made for them. We do not only listen but also watch the images. The volunteer operates the computer and ensures that the right piece starts at the right time. This activity takes place every Thursday morning.

At KleinGeluk we leave no chance unused to promote the well-being of the elderly. As a volunteer, you are invaluable to us! Experiencing small moments of happiness together, so that people feel seen. That is what we do it for.

We offer you guidance and you can participate in workshops to develop new skills if necessary. You can start working for a few hours per month.

Good to know: as a volunteer you are insured (third party liability and accidents) and before starting work we request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct).

Are you interested or would you like to have a cup of coffee with one of the volunteer and welfare coordinators? Call our care line on 0800-0604 or email [email protected]
