Detailed description

We are looking for a new member for our Client Council! Do you have experience as a patient, caregiver or family member in rehabilitation care? Do you want to influence how we make care even better? Then read on!

Member of the Client Council

8-24 hours on average per month

What does the Client Council do?

The Client Council of Klimmendaal represents the interests of children, young people, adults and their relatives/parents. We advise the Board of Directors and think along about topics that are important for care. Sometimes we also have to agree to certain decisions, as regulated in the Client Participation in Healthcare Institutions Act (WMCZ2018).

The Client Council consists of 9 members with different backgrounds and experiences.

Important topics we are currently working on include:

  • More patient participation.
  • The role of family and loved ones in rehabilitation.
  • Digital care.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a patient or ex-patient, or a relative of a patient (e.g. parent, partner or family member) and has an affinity with child rehabilitation.
  • Familiar with Klimmendaal, as a patient or as a caregiver.
  • Given the current composition of the Client Council, preference is given to someone from the Apeldoorn/Doetinchem/Zutphen region.
  • Can listen well and represent the interests of all patients.
  • Critical, positive and constructive.
  • Has good communication skills.

Upon entering into employment, you must submit a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).

Do you live in the region where Klimmendaal is active and are you involved in healthcare? Then we would like to hear from you!

What do we offer you?

  • You will be given the opportunity to contribute ideas and ensure that the position of patients is strengthened.
  • A pleasant and committed working atmosphere.
  • An educational environment and opportunities to develop yourself further.
  • An allowance for expenses and travel costs.
  • We offer an induction period and start with a two-month trial period.
  • Help us to provide the best care together!

The Client Council meets once a month on Monday in Arnhem. In addition, there are committee meetings.
