FURTHER DESCRIPTION
Stichting Leergeld Apeldoorn aims to provide help (financially and materially) to children living in the municipality of Apeldoorn, who are (threatened to be) limited in their development because the family to which they belong has to survive on a minimum income. For this we are looking for a few intermediaries (m/f) for a few hours a week. The intermediary visits families who submit an application for help and investigates the possibilities for help from the Stichting Leergeld Apeldoorn, but also from the available facilities.
The job requirements:
- Good social skills
- Own experience - if possible - with benefits or with a minimum income, or at least feeling related to this group
- Being able to handle privacy-sensitive data
- Able to work independently.
Before starting to work as an intermediary, one goes along with an experienced intermediary a number of times. In addition, the coordinator provides information about a number of matters that are important for the work of an intermediary. The work of an intermediary is compensated for by a small volunteer allowance. The intermediary is expected to endorse the principles and objectives of the foundation.
