Education Mild Intellectual Disabilities
Zuid Doet Samen and MEE will organize a series of information sessions for the residents of Apeldoorn-South in 2022.
On Tuesday 27 September it will be about Light Intellectual Disabilities.
You meet many people every day. They may also include people with a mild intellectual disability (LVB). Maybe someone close to you. Because this limitation is not visible, you do not always recognize it.
Knowledge about recognizing and dealing with people with MID can help you understand the other person better and make communication go more smoothly. As a result, someone with an MID can better participate in society. Because everyone wants to participate, belong, use your talents.
This MID information consists of theory, videos and experiential exercises, which gives you more insight into what an MID entails and what impact it has on the lives of the person themselves and their loved ones.
Of course there is also room for questions.
