Education about Invisible Restrictions
In everyday life we often come across it: Miscommunication. One does not understand the other and vice versa. Sometimes the reason for this miscommunication turns out to be an invisible limitation of the other. You can think of an invisible disability such as autism, acquired brain injury, or a mild intellectual disability. When you recognize this and take this into account in the communication, the communication will run better. So do you experience communication with family members, neighbors or colleagues with autism, intellectual disability or another disability as difficult? Do you think it is important to connect as much as possible with the other person? Then this information is for you.
During this information session you will receive some tools to know how to recognize things and how you can connect to them in your communication.
Translating language into practice and society. The aim is to experience the impact of (un)clear communication. Red line is always the Invisible Restriction.
This information consists of interactive meetings with theory, videos and experiential exercises that give you more insight into what an invisible disability means and what impact it has on the life of the person themselves and their loved ones.
Of course there is also room for your questions.
