Who are we looking for?
Mentorship Overijssel Gelderland is continuously looking for volunteers who are looking for volunteer work with a lot of challenge and responsibility.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Supporting and representing people who are unable to make their own decisions and who have no family members to help them.
Job description:
A mentor is a confidant, guide and representative in decisions about housing, welfare, care and nursing. He/she periodically visits a client (at home or in an institution) and offers support where desirable and necessary. The client remains in control as much as possible.
Job requirements:
A mentor is a volunteer who...
- can communicate well
-is rich in initiative
-skilled in decisions and actions
-can work well together
-is independent and honest
can set boundaries
- can view one's own behavior critically
-preferably has a healthcare-related education (minimum MBO 4)

As a mentor you will receive support and guidance from Mentorschap Overijssel Gelderland. We offer:

- broadening and deepening knowledge through various training options.
