Volunteer driver

Do you have a car and would you like to help someone as a driver every now and then? After a while, our clients move from our shelter location to their own home. They have few belongings, but no car of their own and often no network of friends or family. Your help is then very much appreciated!

Moviera stands for tackling domestic violence and human trafficking. At various shelters we offer professional assistance and temporary shelter to people who have been confronted with domestic violence. The goal is independent living and (volunteer) work for new independence. Moving from the shelter to their own home is an important step for these people. And sometimes they have an appointment at a location that is difficult to reach by public transport. These clients do not have their own car and often do not have their own network. Then they can use your help now and then, as a driver or to transport a few (donated) items.

As a volunteer you can decide when and how much time you are available. The driver uses his/her own car and receives a km allowance.

We ask

• You are reliable, independent and friendly.
• You must have a sense of the vulnerability of our target group.
• You can submit a Certificate of Good Conduct (new application reimbursed by Moviera).
• You want to endorse Moviera's code of conduct.
