Who are we?
Moviera stands for tackling domestic violence. We have various shelters where we offer shelter and assistance. These are often mothers with children who have had to deal with domestic violence.
Activities
We are looking for a female companion who has time to give clients attention where necessary. For example, when learning the Dutch language, showing them around the city or going out together.
We ask
- You enjoy helping people and you are proficient in Dutch.
- You find it a challenge to communicate with people from other languages (e.g. via Google Translate)
- You have strong social skills (reliable, independent and friendly)
- You can set priorities and boundaries
- You are able to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct and provide a reference.
- You can endorse the organization's code of conduct.

Time Spent
Depending on the client's request and the volunteer's possibilities. Buddies usually meet once a week.
