Who are we?

Meeting place de Graanhof is a meeting place in the Heeze.

Local residents in the Heeze can go to meeting place De Graanhof for a chat, a cup of coffee and a meal. Or to be sporty, creative or educational together with other people from the area.

Activities

We are looking for reinforcements for the volunteer team of the World Kitchen. Every Friday evening, the World Kitchen kicks off at the Graanhof meeting point. During this meal, on Friday evening, two residents (including 1 cook) from the asylum seekers' center prepare meals from different cultures. By inviting them and contributing to the WORLD KITCHEN, we help new residents on their way to feeling less isolated in the neighborhood. In this way, old residents can become acquainted with the rich culture of the new residents. For the volunteer team of the World Kitchen we are looking for a volunteer who, together with the 2 residents of the asylum seekers center and a number of other volunteers, compile the menu, pick up groceries, support in cooking the meal, receive guests and or clean up.
