Who are we?
Meeting place De Graanhof is a meeting place in Heeze.
Residents in Heeze can go to the meeting place De Graanhof for a chat, a cup of coffee and a meal. Or to be active, creative or educational with other people from the neighbourhood. There are around 50 volunteers working at the Graanhof.
Activities
We are looking for reinforcements for the volunteer team of the World Kitchen. Every Friday evening, the World Kitchen starts at the meeting place de Graanhof. During this meal, on Friday evening, two residents (one of whom is a cook) from the asylum seekers' center prepare meals from different cultures. By inviting them and contributing to the WORLD KITCHEN, we help new residents to feel less isolated in the neighborhood. In this way, old residents can get to know the rich culture of the new residents. For the volunteer team of the World Kitchen, we are looking for a volunteer who, together with the 2 residents of the asylum seekers' center and a number of other volunteers, will put together the menu, do the shopping, help with cooking the meal, receive guests and/or clean up.
