Are you coming for tea on Monday evening?

It concerns an older man who likes to receive visitors, he can be very approachable and ask for a hug or a dance. He likes to drink a cup of tea together and then he tells/asks a hundred times.

Our resident benefits greatly from a fixed structure and agreements. He would love it if you would come and have a cup of tea with him (every) Monday evening and play a low-threshold game with him. Our resident likes to make contact and it is a nice social hour.

When he is not feeling well, he can cry, scream and swear. As far as we know, this has never happened when he has visitors. He looks forward to them and 'puts his best foot forward'.

What are you allowed to do?

• Tea & chat,
• Low-threshold game.

What are you bringing?

• You are a patient and kind person,
• You are also clear and can indicate what is and is not possible,
• You have an hour (every) Monday evening,
• You have experience or an affinity with our target group.

Our volunteers do not incur any costs. We are very happy with a (long-term) investment of time.

Naturally, you have a good command of the Dutch language.
