We are looking for a chairman (m/f)
What does the chairman do?
- General management of the group and leading group events.
- Represents the group to the municipality and external parties such as Geldersch Landschap.
- Supervising consultations with executives and within the board. The chairman ensures that decisions and action are taken. And encourages us to hold each other accountable if those decisions are not acted upon.
- Support in expanding the group's network.
- Be enthusiastic and act when necessary.
Important:
- You endorse the objectives and internal regulations of Scouting Nederland.
- You are at least 21 years or older.
- You are prepared to apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct or can submit one.
Estimation of time burden:
- Approximately 12 hours per month
- There are approximately 8 fixed consultation moments per year

At Scouting Group JJB, children and young people spend their free time every Saturday in a challenging and active way in the middle of nature. We are a small-scale group with +/- 50 members who experience the Scouting game together every week with great pleasure and enthusiasm. With full attention for each other and the nature around us. Our young and experienced leadership team realizes the most creative, challenging and adventurous programs. Conviviality, fun, discovery and friendship are our top priorities.
