Detailed description

What is required of a chairman?

- Be committed to Da Capo's objective of offering women opportunities for personal development and to better participate in Dutch society

- This concerns an advisory and supervisory role (advice to the coordinator, control of budget, financial requests, financial and substantive reporting)

- Chair the board meeting 4 or 5 times a year

- Help shape Da Capo's activities by advising the coordinator and using your own network

- Occasionally attend business meetings, such as with the municipality or other authorities

The Da Capo Foundation is an organization for (mainly) female migrants. They can come to Da Capo to learn the language better, to meet other women, to develop themselves, to sew or cook together, to learn to ride a bicycle or to follow a course.
