Summary
We are looking for a chairman on our board. Currently, the board consists of a treasurer, a secretary and a driving coordinator. Unfortunately, our previous chairman had to stop due to expansion of his job.We are looking for someone with an affinity with the target group who can, for example, maintain a network and who can think and act with us to help the Foundation grow. Information can be found on our website: www.spgapeldoorn.nl. A stable board ensures that riders and volunteers feel seen within the Foundation.

Who are we?
The Horse Riding Disabled Apeldoorn Foundation offers our special riders and drivers the opportunity to ride and drive horses.
It is a unique experience for them to be involved with their sport in this way. While for some it is mainly about having fun, the contact with the horse and with the volunteer, for others it is a very nice way of physiotherapy.
Our volunteers are invaluable to the riders and drivers.
Activities
The chairman we are looking for has the following tasks:
- ensures a proper division of tasks within the board;
- represents the organization to the outside world, maintains contacts with important authorities;
- prepares and chairs board meetings;
- ensures proper decision-making and adequate implementation;
- draws up an agenda (together with the secretary);
We ask someone who is enthusiastic with communicative and managerial qualities who cares about people with disabilities
We offer
It concerns a volunteer position with the reward of gratitude from people who would not be able to ride or drive without the SPG, but for whom it does mean a lot.
Time use
We meet about 7 times a year.
