Product Development Employee: Volunteering in The Gambia.

Who are we?
Travel2Connect is a small-scale social enterprise that offers interns and volunteers the opportunity - if you are open to it - to learn from another culture. We put you in direct contact with the local inhabitants of Gambia or Senegal. We strive for you to have an authentic and unique experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Activities
If you find it interesting to make natural products from trees and plants such as jams, soap, skin care products, etc., then this is really something for you! Alternative technologies and traditional techniques are used. The products are sold in a shop and on the market. You will work at an educational center for children, young people and farmers who can be part of an 'educational journey from seed to sale'. This center is located on a nearly 1 hectare large orchard with fruit trees, gardens and animals.

We ask
* You are at least 18 years old on the departure date.

* You are physically and mentally healthy.

* You are patient, flexible, reliable and interested in other cultures.

* You have affinity or experience with the vacancy or you are following a course for this.

* There is a registration procedure.

* You pay the costs that volunteering in The Gambia entails, such as preparation and supervision costs, flight ticket, accommodation costs and meals.
