Summary
The Oud Apeldoorn Association is looking for volunteers who are interested in historical objects and want to conduct research into them in CODA.Detailed description
The Felua Historical Association has been concerned with the history and archeology of Apeldoorn and the Veluwe since January 17, 1896. The association was dissolved in 2015 and the collection was transferred to the VOA. Coda continues to hold the Felua collection as a loan.
The Felua working group was established to focus on the collection and conduct further research into it.
The collection is made up of;
1. Objects relating to the history of Apeldoorn and the eastern Veluwe.
Archeology, utensils, building fragments, coins and tokens, memories of famous people.
2. A large collection of prints: portraits, history prints, topographical prints, maps.
There are also drawings and watercolors, including by Apeldoorn Arie Lieman (1816-1893), which are of great significance for our topographical knowledge of 19th-century Apeldoorn. portraits and history prints relate to the Oranjehuis.
3. The third part of the collection consists of books, including various old volumes.
A large part of it relates to the history of Apeldoorn and the Veluwe.
Four volunteers are currently working enthusiastically at CODA to inventory the Collection of the former Historical Association Felua, now VOA. The intention is that everything is checked and, if possible, information about the object is added.
