DESCRIPTION

There is “More going on in the Grote Kerk”. Together with Orpheus and Gigant, the Grote Kerk is one of the three largest cultural stages in Apeldoorn. In addition to the church services, many (cultural) activities of various kinds are organized in the Grote Kerk. For an overview of these activities, see our website www.vriendenvandegrotekerk.nl . Volunteers are deployed as parking attendants and hostesses or hosts for these activities. The hostesses and hosts are responsible for receiving visitors and serving drinks at the buffets in the church. We have an active and enthusiastic group of volunteers who are deployed in varying compositions for activities.

For the planning and organization of the deployment of volunteers for the various activities in the Grote Kerk we are looking for an enthusiastic board member. In addition to the planning of the deployment, you will (periodically) have conversations with (potential) volunteers and you will be (jointly) responsible for the admission policy of new volunteers. You will also have regular contact with the sexton/manager of the Grote Kerk to coordinate the activities in the church.

Together with the other board members, you are responsible for the orderly running of activities in the Grote Kerk and you ensure that the volunteers make an active contribution to this.

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

· Affinity for working with volunteers;

· Preferably experience with planning and organizing;

· Social and communication skills;

· The intention to work for a maximum of 3 hours per week for a period of at least 4 years

to set a week;

· You feel involved with the Grote Kerk Apeldoorn.
