Hospice De Spreng in Beekbergen offers care to people in the final stages of life. The hospice has 10 private rooms and a shared living room for guests and their loved ones. Volunteers are indispensable in our hospice. They work together with professionals to provide the best possible guidance and care for our guests. To expand our team, we are looking for hostesses/hosts.
What does the host/hostess do:
You provide the guests with food and drinks
You receive the visit
You prepare and serve meals
You provide coffee and tea for guests and their loved ones
You give extra attention to the guests by making a chat or reading the mail
You are a listening ear for guests and visitors
You create a pleasant homely atmosphere in the living room
Do you have;
An open listening attitude and good communication skills
Can you work well with healthcare providers?
Do you have empathy and respect for the emotions of the guest and their loved ones?
And you are preferably available at least 5 hours per week
Then we offer you;
Meaningful volunteer work in a committed and enthusiastic team, after a thorough induction period
As a volunteer you work according to a schedule
Travel allowance and third-party accident insurance during volunteer work
Volunteers receive an annual gift
