EXTENDED DESCRIPTION

Did you know that a board position can contribute significantly to your talent development? Think of dealing with different interests, developing strategic skills and working on organizations. Many associations and foundations run on volunteers, including board members who often work unpaid. Have you ever considered a board position or do you think you can get more out of it? Then read on quickly! It is not only valuable for the foundation or association, but also for yourself and your employer.

In this new training of the Bestuurdersacademie Apeldoorn we let you experience that social commitment as a board member and your work go hand in hand. Based on your board position, function and personal ambitions, we will enter the program together. During the training you will discover the value of board work for your personal development and for your employer.

Don't have a driver role yet?

Do you think a board position is something for you? Do you want to investigate it? Then you are also very welcome. During this training we will actively work on your interests, you will meet buddies and get to know our network. There is a big chance that you will find your ideal role during this training!

Target audience

For this program we are looking for a maximum of six people who have a paid job in addition to a (intended or desired) management role. These can be both starters and experienced employees.

Program

During half a year we will work together on your ambitions. We would also like to involve your employer in this program. We focus on your personal management role and the value this has for the association or foundation, for yourself and for your employer. The content of the program is adapted to the participants. Below you will find the general structure of the program:

Dates: During the kick-off, we will determine the most suitable moments and locations together with the participants. The speakers and deepening sessions will also be tailored to the participants. So there is no reason not to register.

Kick-off: Tuesday September 17, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM - Introduction

Wednesday October 16, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM: Deepening into different values

Tuesday, November 26, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM: Where do I find the time?

Closing: Wednesday February 5, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Follow-up afternoon (Together with your employer)

About the trainer

The training is provided by Joost Leferink. He is rooted in the Apeldoorn network and is committed to a more social Apeldoorn, in which he focuses on the combination of commercial and social value. In daily life he is a consultant for informal care for young people at Stichting de Kap, independent Business Developer for Regio Stedendriehoek and active in various management positions and committees.
