The Heemgaard library is looking for an adolescent-resistant volunteer for administrative tasks and help to students.Detailed description
The library team consists of 1 librarian and 10 volunteers.
We are looking for a colleague for Wednesday morning from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm .
It is also possible to work more than 1 half day per week. Duties consist of various administrative tasks and assisting students with questions ranging from 'How does the printer work?' to 'Can you help me with a nice book?'. It is useful to have:
- computer skills and/or the willingness to learn how to work with (online versions of) programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and library program Aura
- reading skills (for following written instructions and alphabetically storing/finding books in the shelf)
- (v) niceness in dealing with teenagers
Knowledge of (youth) literature is not necessary, you will get to know the collection and the online catalog in practice. You always work with an experienced colleague.
