Summary

Shopping and cooking with one of our residents on Saturday and/or Sunday. When everything is on the table, you can of course join us for a bite to eat!

Detailed description

We are looking for someone who enjoys shopping and cooking with our residents of Driestroomhuis Live Your Dreams during the weekend.

Live Your Dreams is a small-scale care organization in Loenen where young adults with intellectual disabilities live and/or work. The daytime activities include; vegetable gardening; green maintenance; and taking care of the horses, rabbits, chickens (now also chicks), dogs and cats.

Do you have affinity with people with intellectual disabilities and with cooking? Then remember that you can do that in the beautiful countryside on the Veluwe.

You start at 4 pm and go to the supermarket with one of our residents to get all the ingredients for your chosen meal. Together you prepare the food for the living group with a maximum of seven residents. And do you need an egg? Then take a look in the chicken coop!

At around 6.30 pm, when everyone is seated, you are free to go again. OR: Around 6 pm it is time to sit down at the table together. Then clear up with one of the residents and it's time for you to go.
