Summary
Andre likes to have a drink somewhere, drive a car or just have someone come over for himDetailed description
Who is Andrew?
Andre is a 59-year-old man with a mild intellectual disability after a TIA. He lives in a residential group at the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo where he receives 24-hour care. He is a man with humor and likes to joke. He likes the humor that is on the edge the most. He is curious by nature, but first looks the cat out of the tree. He can therefore come across as a grumpy bear, but secretly he likes many things and enjoys socializing around him. He is mobile and used to have a driver's license. Unfortunately, after his TIA, he can no longer drive. He does enjoy sitting next to it. He likes to watch football and the TV program 50/50 and cars. Every Saturday he and his group go to the Brasserie at the residential care park for a coffee and a 0.0 beer. In the summer he went to the black cross, which he enjoyed.
His mother and sisters sometimes come to visit, which he likes very much.
What is Andrew asking?
For Andre we are looking for a volunteer who can go out with him. A drink somewhere, a ride in the car, just visiting or on his birthday. Or go out for a while. His supervisors can tell you what else he likes. A volunteer with humor, who doesn't take it all too seriously and someone who treats him soberly. Preferably on Sunday, because he often has nothing to do then, or during the week in the evening. But a lot is possible in consultation. The frequency, day and time are negotiable. Will you come and have a cup of coffee sometime?
