Who is Ramon?
Ramon is a 33-year-old man with a mild intellectual disability. He lives in a residential group on the grounds of 's Heeren Loo, where he receives intensive supervision. He is solidly built, has short shaved hair and often wears an Ajax tracksuit with a cap. A tough boy. Ramon can be very cheerful and then gets a nice smile on his face. Especially football makes him very happy! Big fan of Ajax and Go Ahead Eagles. But also gaming, watching Fifa and Formula 1 are his hobbies. Ramon's trust is not easy to gain, it takes time. But when he gets to know someone better, he dares to open up a bit more. If he is not feeling well or if he wants something that is not possible, he can get angry by cursing or slamming the door. Of course, his supervisors will guide the volunteer in this, so that you have handles to deal with this. So a challenge! But if you get to know him well and he feels trusted, he can really value you. He mentions that he's glad you're there for him and can really give you a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. Who oh who will take on this challenge with him?
What is Ramon asking?
For Ramon we are looking for a volunteer who has a connection with his hobbies. Someone who enjoys football, formula 1 or gaming just as much. Of course it is nice if he can go with you to a football match of Ajax or Go Ahead Eagles. Gaming together, watching football, going to the cinema, the media market or a toy store. Just doing nice men things together! But a volunteer who can be clear, can say no and honor agreements. Preferably on weekends, because he has a lot of free time. Preferably 1x every 2 weeks / 1x a month.

's Heeren Loo we can organize extra activities and personal attention and
fulfill customer needs. Think of taking a walk, playing a game or
just having a good conversation over a cup of coffee.
