Guest ladies wanted for our church

We are looking for guest ladies for our church "het Vierhuis" in the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo.

The church:

Our residential care park is an institution for people with mental and sometimes physical disabilities. People live and work in our protected environment. All facilities are available on site. So is our church; the Four House.

The clients of 's Heeren Loo come here on Sundays with or without a supervisor or family for the honorary and storytelling services. The services are adapted to the level of our clients, so that everyone finds it a warm, safe and pleasant place to come. One client sings all the songs wholeheartedly, the other client knows all the stories and yet another client rocks along to the music of the organ. A nice, recognizable place for everyone, where everyone gets their own piece. About 150 people come to our storytelling service and 400 people to our worship service.

The volunteer hostess:

The duties of the host lady are; making sure that everything is ready together with the sexton. You provide the coffee and tea. We are looking for a number of guest ladies. Guest ladies who rotate in consultation and provide a service approximately once a month together with the sexton. We are looking for guest ladies who respect everyone's faith and who can provide a good service. You meet with the team 4 times a year. Before each shift, the host lady receives a memo stating what is going to happen.

Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
