Summary
I am a man with a mild intellectual disability. After my shoulder surgery I will be severely limited in my freedom and mobility.Detailed description
Who am I?
I am a neat man of 47 years old, with a mild intellectual disability. I live on an outside location of 's Heeren Loo. Here I live independently in an apartment complex in the Malkenschoten district with 14 other residents who all receive help from supervisors of 's Heeren Loo where necessary. I like to make jokes and do nice things with people. I like to chat and a listening ear is always welcome.
I work 36 hours a week. I will soon have surgery on my shoulder and will be at home for a long time to recover, which will temporarily lose my freedom and mobility. I want to do fun things to keep feeling good about myself.
My hobbies are going out, doing chores, playing games or having a nice cup of coffee somewhere. Unfortunately, my supervisors cannot offer all of this.
What am I asking?
I am looking for a nice temporary buddy, with a listening ear, who wants to go out with me for an errand, or a physio visit if the taxi is not possible. My girlfriend lives in Meppel. It would be nice if we could pick her up sometime. I have a car myself that we can drive in. I also like walking, drinking coffee or playing a game.
The days can be discussed, because I will be at home 7 days a week.
I am a nice and sociable man, I keep to my agreements and let you know that I am happy to have you as a volunteer!
We offer you
