Cheerful Ria is looking for 50 + volunteer

Ria is a cheerful 70-year-old woman who gets along well with everyone. She has a mild intellectual disability and lives in a residential group in a residential area in Apeldoorn. Ria likes to socialize and likes to drink a glass of wine. She likes to go for a walk (considering her age that is not possible anymore), enjoy a bike ride together, swim and listen to music and especially to the church choir. 's Heeren Loo has its own church where singing services are given. Ria is well able to make herself clear and understandable to others. Ria has an interest in an open and calm approach where respect is important.

What does Ria ask?

Ria is looking for a friendly volunteer who likes the same things as she does. Preferably a woman over 50 years old. It would be nice if the volunteer could meet Ria once or twice a month, but more often is of course also allowed. Ria likes to go out together, have a glass of wine or go to the pool. 's Heeren Loo has its own swimming pool. Ria likes to listen to a church choir together (in church or on CD), she also enjoys other music very much. Do you enjoy the little things so much?

Within 's Heeren Loo, the efforts of volunteers are valuable. They contribute to a meaningful life for people with intellectual disabilities. Thanks to the many volunteers of 's Heeren Loo, we can organize extra activities and fulfill personal attention and wishes for clients. Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
